PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE:
Hi –
Our June show was very well attended with 100 works and several practices.
Unfortunately, the ground was too moist and packed faster than expected. In response
to that problem, CCC will be adding more sand to the show arena.
Also, we will be working the warm-up area with a bigger tractor
and that should provide better footing for loping your horses.
Enclosed with the newsletter this month is a survey to get your input regarding
a possible merger with Gold Country Cutting Club. Nothing is
in motion--we just want your opinion, so please mail it back
to us at the address for Alan Jacobson, or turn it in to the
show secretary at the July show.
Thanks,
Bernie Talbot
THANKS!!!!!!

‘thank you’ to the following for staying late after the June
show to clean up the arena and take down the time clock, PA

REMINDER
When
riding your horse in the show pen and warm up area please
remember that CCC observes the NCHA dress code. Hats and
boots must be worn. Long sleeved shirts with collars must
be worn in the show pen. Thank you for your attention to
this matter.
A NOTE ABOUT YEAR-END AWARDS
Please remember that you must show in at least 50% of the classes at the club shows in order to qualify for year-end awards. This year we anticipate no less than 6 shows and possibly 8 shows by year-end. (You must show in half that amount to be eligible for awards in a class).
CCC AWARDS/SPONSORSHIPS
You will notice the many buckle awards that will be presented this year to the
winners in our classes. Please take the time to step forward
and offer to sponsor a buckle or one of our other awards that
will be offered in third through fifth place.
Thank you,

Directors

The

Thank you.
The Clements Cutting Club offers a unique opportunity
to our supporters for the 2003 season. For $250.00, we will
provide the following advertising opportunities:
-
We will make a 3' x 5' vinyl banner which
will be displayed at each cutting on the inside arena walls.
-
We will run your business card ad in each
of our monthly newsletters.
-
We will put your ad permanently on our web
site.
In the past, our sponsors donated year-end awards.
We changed our format beginning in 2001. Instead of year-end
awards in all classes, we have been jack-potting all classes.
The members have responded enthusiastically to this change.
Our new advertising program reflects another change for the
club. The Board of Directors believes it offers a much higher
level of visibility for our advertisers.
Thank you for your support.
