PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE:
Hello Members and Friends:
Our February
show has come and gone and by the comments from the participants,
it was another successful event, with
208 entries, it took us late into the night. Thanks to all
for staying and helping until the final buzzer. Thank you,
Mike Warman, for a great job (as always) and enduring such
a long day. Thank you, Russ Elrod and Larry Trocha, for relieving
Mike for a couple of classes.
In my last message,
I failed to acknowledge Marsha Everett for her outstanding
job at announcing
and her ability to keep the show rolling along. THANK YOU Marsha!!
Our
club is building momentum, not only in numbers, but also in
the quality of the shows. Your Board of Directors commitment
is to improve on each and every show with the help of membership
input and participation. Any and all help on the weekends of
the shows will be greatly needed and appreciated.
Progress on
the Curtis Ranch is coming along nicely. A revamped cutting
arena, fenced in loping area, new holding pens, newly planted
grass with hitching rails around our snack area are just a few of the improvements
Syd and Sarah are making to better meet the needs of our cutting
club. Let us show our appreciation with another great turnout.
Our next show will be April 18, 2004 at the Curtis Ranch.
See
you down the road!

The Clements Cutting Club offers a unique opportunity
to our supporters for the 2004 season. For $250.00, we will
provide the following advertising opportunities:
-
We will make a 3' x 5' vinyl banner which
will be displayed at each cutting on the inside arena walls.
-
We will run your business card ad in each
of our monthly newsletters.
-
We will put your ad on our web
site.
Newsletter Ad Cost (Ad runs entire season)

-
¼ Page Ad - $25
-
½ Page Ad - $40
-
Full Page Ad - $65
In the past, our sponsors donated year-end awards.
We changed our format beginning in 2001. Instead of year-end
awards in all classes, we have been jack-potting all classes.
The members have responded enthusiastically to this change.
Our new advertising program reflects another change for the
club. The Board of Directors believes it offers a much higher
level of visibility for our advertisers. Thank you for your support.
