"The best little cutting horse club in the West." March, 2008

presidents message:

Time is drawing near for our show season to begin. Your President and Directors took time to meet at Rancho Murieta in preparation for our first show. Everyone has seen articles about the new cutting arena in the magazines and it being part of Carol Ward's overall plan to expand and promote cutting in our area, making it a premier "go to location" for our sport.

For our first shows, the RV hookups near the cutting arena should be ready at $35.00/night. There will also be dry RV parking at $20.00/night and stalls at $25.00/day. For reservations and information, call the office at the Murieta Equestrian Center at 916-985-7334 or visit their website at www.murietaequestriancenter.com. NOTE: The Gold N Grand Horse Show will be there the same weekend, so don't hesitate too long if you need to make reservations.

The Club wants to thank Janine Carlson of Janine's Photography for all the great pictures and support she has given the members over the past two years. We will miss you.

In the past, our sponsors donated year-end awards. We changed our format beginning in 2001. In addition to year-end awards in all classes, we have been jack-potting all classes. The members have responded enthusiastically to this change. Our new advertising program reflects another change for the club. The Board of Directors believes it offers a much higher level of visibility for our advertisers.

    Thank you for your support.
