PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE:
Hello Members & Friends:
By all accounts,
it looks like another successful and fun show held at the Curtis
Ranch on April 18. By my observation, the cutters
and spectators alike seemed to enjoy the more relaxed and improved
environment provided by Syd and Sarah Curtis. Thank you!
There
are still a few issues and conditions that have been addressed
by the Board, specifically, the loping arena. Syd has responded
by providing the indoor arena as our new loping area.
I would
like to extend a big THANK YOU to Tom and Debbie Churchill
for generously donating two saddle blankets to the winners
of the Senior and Junior Youth classes at our last show. Stop
by and say hello and thanks, as Tom and Debbie have been wonderful
supporters of our club. Ricotti Saddle Shop is another long-time
and generous supporter of our club, who has provided gift certificates
to the winners of all of our classes. Go by, see Rick and Susan,
and show them our appreciation.
As a special
consideration to our members who support our club all year,
including on Mother’s Day, we are going to have a special activity for all of our mothers
- the two or four legged kind. Debbie McGregor has orchestrated
a Mother’s Day drawing with lots of nice prizes. Every “mom”
at the show will receive a raffle ticket just for being with
us on Mother’s Day. Raffle items will be rewarded throughout
the day; you don’t need to be present to win.
Thank you, Chris
Brown, for the great job judging at our April show. Thanks
to all the Board members and staff for providing their time,
labor and services before and after each cutting. Our next
show will be May 9th at the Curtis Ranch.
See you down
the road,
Peter
Jacoway

The Clements Cutting Club offers a unique opportunity
to our supporters for the 2004 season. For $250.00, we will
provide the following advertising opportunities:
-
We will make a 3' x 5' vinyl banner which
will be displayed at each cutting on the inside arena walls.
-
We will run your business card ad in each
of our monthly newsletters.
-
We will put your ad on our web
site.
Newsletter Ad Cost (Ad runs entire season)
-
Business Card
- $10
-
¼ Page Ad - $25
-
½ Page Ad - $40
-
Full Page Ad - $65
In the past, our sponsors donated year-end awards.
We changed our format beginning in 2001. Instead of year-end
awards in all classes, we have been jack-potting all classes.
The members have responded enthusiastically to this change.
Our new advertising program reflects another change for the
club. The Board of Directors believes it offers a much higher
level of visibility for our advertisers. Thank you for your support.
