A MESSAGE TO OUR MEMBERS:

We had two more great shows last month in October. Lots of works both days. Congratulations to all of our winners. The standings are on the web site and enclosed in this edition of our newsletter.

Don’t forget our Awards Banquet at Clements Feed and Fuel on Highway 88 in Clements on November 19th. Cocktails at 6:00 p.m., dinner at 7:00 p.m. Presentation of awards will be right after dinner. We hope to have great raffle items and also we will have a DJH for your entertainment and dancing. Reservations are due to Leslie Helgesen, 23199 Brandt Rd., Lodi, CA 95240, no later than November 12th. Phone: 209/727-0970. The cost is $30 per person for adults and $15 for children.

CCC wants to thank all of our judges, our great turn back help, our cattle managers, our announcer, and show secretary for a great year. See you at the banquet!

The Clements Cutting Club offers a unique opportunity to our supporters for the 2005 season. For $250.00, we will provide the following advertising opportunities:

We will make a 3' x 5' vinyl banner which will be displayed at each cutting on the inside arena walls.
We will run your business card ad in each of our monthly newsletters.
We will put your ad on our web site.

In the past, our sponsors donated year-end awards. We changed our format beginning in 2001. In addition to year-end awards in all classes, we have been jack-potting all classes. The members have responded enthusiastically to this change. Our new advertising program reflects another change for the club. The Board of Directors believes it offers a much higher level of visibility for our advertisers.

2005 ccc class rules

OPEN	Anyone can ride; a person can ride as many horses as desired.
NON PRO	No trainers. Rider must own horse.
10,000 NOVICE	Anyone can ride; a person can ride as many horses as desired. Horse must not have won over $10,000.
10,000 NOVICE NON PRO	Non Pro rider must own horse; horse must not have won over $10,000.
YOUTH	Must be 18 years of age or younger. May show any horse.
3,000 NOVICE	Anyone can ride; a person can ride as many horses as desired. Horse must not have won over $3,000.
50,000 AMATEUR	Open to any amateurs who have not won over $50,000 as of Jan. 1 of that year. Class conforming to NCHA rules.
20,000 NON PRO	Non Pro rider must own horse; rider must not have earned over $20,000.
3,000 NOVICE NON PRO	Non Pro rider must own horse; horse must not have won over $3,000.
2,000 LIMITED	All riders having lifetime earnings of less than $2,000 at the beginning of the point year. Any horse may be ridden.
500 NON PRO	Non Pro rider must own horse; rider must not have earned over $500.
TWO-HANDED RANCH	May use both hands on the reins. Anyone can ride; a person can ride as many horses as desired. May show any horse EXCEPT horses previously shown in regular classes.
