PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE:
Hello Members and Friends:
Congratulations to all the class winners and participants from the August show,
held at the Curtis ranch. We had another great turnout with
wonderful weather, good cattle. We completed the second class
of our Ranch Hand Class and look forward to the final class
of the series at our September 19th show.
Thanks to a
wonderful contribution by Tracy Taylor, the Youth class will
be boasting
fresh cattle for our final show. Tracy judged our August show
and donated his check for judging back to the club to provide
the cattle. In addition, Syd Curtis donated his jackpot earnings
check back to the club for the same cause. The Youth class
will still be the $25 Jackpot fee for the entry, but the youth
will cut on fresh cattle. Thank you, Tracy and Syd!
Now is your
chance to make a difference for your club. Board nominations
are now being accepted for the 2005 CCC Board. A nomination
form is included in this newsletter and will be available at
the September show. Multiple slots on our Board will be open
next year. Remember, this is your club and a chance for you to get active and participate
with the club.
The Board is
finalizing the dates and details for the CCC Awards Banquet
and for the year-end awards. We
are looking forward to a spectacular event, loaded with fun
and surprises. We have had such a great year with our shows;
we intend to end the year with a bang! Details for the Banquet
will be released as soon as possible. Watch your mailbox
for them!
Also, please
watch for details on the Points Club Association
show, to be held at Murieta Equine Complex, November 13
and 14.
See you down
the road,

We will make a 3' x 5' vinyl banner which
will be displayed at each cutting on the inside arena walls.
-
We will run your business card ad in each
of our monthly newsletters.
-
We will put your ad on our web
site.

-
¼ Page Ad - $25
-
½ Page Ad - $40
-

In the past, our sponsors donated year-end awards.
We changed our format beginning in 2001. Instead of year-end
awards in all classes, we have been jack-potting all classes.
The members have responded enthusiastically to this change.
Our new advertising program reflects another change for the
club. The Board of Directors believes it offers a much higher
level of visibility for our advertisers. Thank you for your support.
